Hin Dad Hot Spring formerly known as Kuimang Hot Spring, located 130 km. from Kanchanaburi between Km. 105 – 106 on Highway 323. It is a well of natural hot water of 45 – 55 degrees Celsius discovered beside a stream of cool water by Japanese troops during WWII and two cement wells were then constructed at the site. It is believed that the water from this hot spring has a healing property for various ailments such as beriberi and rheumatism. A hot spring bath in the well is available.
น้ำพุร้อนหินดาด เดิมเรียกว่าน้ำพุร้อนกุยมั่ง การเดินทางสามารถเดินทางไปตามทางหลวงหมายเลข 323 กิโลเมตรที่ 105–106 อยู่ห่างจากตัวเมืองกาญจนบุรี 135 กิโลเมตร พุน้ำร้อนหินดาด เป็นบ่อน้ำร้อนธรรมชาติริมลำธาร ค้นพบโดยทหารญี่ปุ่น และได้สร้างเป็นบ่อซีเมนต์ เชื่อกันว่าน้ำแร่จากบ่อน้ำร้อนแห่งนี้ มีสรรพคุณในการรักษาโรคภัยไข้เจ็บหลายอย่าง เช่น โรคเหน็บชา ไขข้ออักเสบ อัมพฤกษ์ อัมพาต นักท่องเที่ยวสามารถลงอาบน้ำในบ่อได้

Pha Tat Waterfall (Namtok Pha Tat) A large waterfall within the area of Khuean Srinagarindra National Park located 140 km. from Kanchanaburi. The picturesque 3–tiered waterfall originates from a small creek on the Kala Range. Each of its 3 tiers is wide and breathtakingly high, with a lot of water in the late rainy season. It has serene and verdant surroundings. To get there, take Highway 323 and turn between Km. 105 – 106 toward the same direction as Hin Dat Hot Spring and continue for some 10 km. further.
น้ำตกผาตาด เป็นน้ำตกขนาดใหญ่ในเขตอุทยานแห่งชาติเขื่อนศรีนครินทร์ เกิดจากลำห้วยเล็กๆบริเวณ เทือกเขากะลา น้ำตก ผาตาดเป็นน้ำตกที่มีความสวยงามมีชั้นน้ำตกลดหลั่นกันไปถึง 3 ชั้น แต่ละชั้นมี ความกว้างความสูงที่ตระการตา และมีน้ำมาก ในช่วงปลายฤดูฝน การเดินทางไปน้ำตก สามารถเดินทาง โดยใช้ทางหลวงหมายเลข 323 ช่วงกิโลเมตรที่ 105–106 โดยเลี้ยว เข้าทางเดียวกับพุน้ำร้อนหินดาด และอยู่เลยจาก พุน้ำร้อนหินดาดเข้าไปประมาณ 8 กิโลเมตร

Vajiralongkorn Dam (Formerly Khao Laem Dam)This is a key project of Mae Klong River Basin Development Scheme. The construction started in 1979 and finished in 1984. It is located on the Kwai Noi River at thong Pha Phum District, about 280 kms from Bangkok.

The Bridge on the River Khwae (the Death Railway Bridge) The bridge spans across Maenam Khwae Yai which is a branch of Maenam Mae Klong. During the Japanese occupation of Thailand in World War II, the Japanese Imperial Army brought the iron bridge from Java. It was then resembled by Allied Prisoners of War (POW) under Japanese supervision. The bridge was part of a strategic railway route to Myanmar in which the Japanese aimed to secure supplies with which to conquer other western Asian countries. It was 415 kilometers long (about 303 kilometers in Thailand and about 112 kilometers in Burma) and passed through the Three Pagoda Pass in Sangkhlaburi District, the northern most part of Kanchanaburi province.

By Car: From Bangkok, visitors can take a 2-hour drive along Highway No.4 (Phetkasem) via Nakhon Chaisi, Nakhon Pathom, Ban Pong, Tha Maka, Tha Muang to Kanchanaburi. For an alternative route, visitors can drive along Highway No. 338 from Bangkok to Nakhon Chaisi and then proceed along Highway No.4 to Kanchanaburi.
By Bus : Non air-conditioned buses leave Bangkok’s Southern Bus Terminal every 15 minutes from 4 a.m.-8 p.m. The trip takes about 2 hours. Call :0 2434 5557 for more information. The Bridge over the River Kwai internationally famous, thanks to several motion pictures and books, the black iron bridge was brought from Java by the Japanese Army and reassembled under Japanese supervision by Allied prisoners of war labour as part of the Death Railway linking Thailand with Myanmar. Still in use today the bridge was the target of frequent Allied bombing raids during 1945, and was rebuilt after the war ended. The curved spans of the bridge are the original sections.

Kanchanaburi War Cemetery On Saeng Chuto Road, opposite the Railway Station, it contains the remains of 6,982 prisoners of war who perished during the construction of the "Death Railway".

Sai Yok National Park this park encompasses the famous Kwai Noi River and contains some waterfalls and caves on the river bank. Namtok Sai Yok Yai, 104 kms. from the town, flows directly into the river near the park office. lts idyllic beauty has been repeatedly celebrated in Thai poetry and song. Tham Lawa and Tham Daowadung are the two caves which house numerous stalactites and stalagmites. The smallest mammal in the world, Kitti's Hog-nosed Bat weighing just two grams, is found in the park area.

Elephant Trekking
Elephants in Sangkhla Buri are raised by Karen hilltribes for working purposes. When not working, they are available to tourists to ride. Some travel agents offer one-day elephant trekking in combination with rafting tours in the vicinity of Thong Pha Phum and Sangkhla Buri.

Mon BridgeThis is the longest wooden bridge in Thailand, linking Sangkhlaburi with Mon villages.
